Excellent or Praiseworthy: A devotional to help military families stay connected during deployments

A team from Campus Crusade’s Military Ministry recently kicked off a new online devotional for military families. The title of this online devotional/blog is “Excellent or Praiseworthy” and has been developed by the same people who are working on a Bible study for military couples that focuses on the difficult issues surrounding pre-deployment, deployment, and redeployment. The team held a few strategy/brainstorming sessions at First Baptist Belton with a handful of our military families in each of the deployment stages listed above. It was a very enlightening session which produced excellent feedback, experiences, and ideas on ministry opportunities for military families. I’m really excited to see the end result and have a copy for future use and reference. Until then, this online devotional should be an excellent tool for those military couples enduring long and uncertain deployments.
